Job Summary:
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals. This role involves managing and mentoring a nationwide sales team, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and a proven track record of driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing national sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales policies, processes, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure effective product positioning and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all sales activities.
  • Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of sales strategies and team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management specifically in the controlled trading pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including products, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in ERP software for sales.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
