Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures, with hands-on experience in Cisco devices and Fortinet firewalls. Knowledge of Windows Server administration will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless).
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and other networking devices.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain Fortinet firewalls to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
• Perform regular network performance monitoring, analysis, and capacity planning.
• Implement and maintain network security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support for escalated network-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate systems and support business operations.
• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Support Windows Server environments including user management, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP (preferred).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on expertise in Cisco networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Strong experience with Fortinet firewalls (configuration, troubleshooting, security policies).
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration (a plus).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
