Network Engineer

Network Engineer – Sharjah, UAE

We're on the lookout for an experienced Network Engineer to join our growing IT infrastructure team in Sharjah, UAE .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing day-to-day operations of enterprise networks – routers, switches, wireless access points, and more
• Designing and deploying network solutions for head offices, branch locations, and new business initiatives
• Installing and troubleshooting wired/wireless networks and ensuring consistent uptime and performance
• Conducting routine maintenance, system upgrades, and patching to ensure stability and security
• Monitoring network performance using tools like PRTG and resolving connectivity issues proactively
• Supporting network resource planning, capacity management, and documentation
• Collaborating on cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure integration

What You Should Bring:

• Solid experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security – firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, NAC, and QoS
• Proven ability to work in multi-vendor, multi-protocol setups
• Familiarity with VoIP systems and wireless infrastructure design
• Knowledge of authentication protocols and cloud-based network architectures (AWS/Azure)
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills

Tech Stack You'll Work With:

• Hardware & Vendors: Cisco, Aruba, Juniper
• Monitoring Tools: PRTG or similar
• Security: Enterprise firewalls (perimeter & data center), IDS/IPS systems
• Cloud & Wireless: Multi-vendor wireless and cloud-integrated networks

Qualifications & Experience:

• 6–8 years of experience in network design, implementation, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Certifications: CCNA (required), CCNP (preferred)
