Network Engineer (DELL: VXRail, Sonicwall)

Job description:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or equivalent experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Dell VxRail deployments (cluster setup, networking integration, HCI networking design) as found in market JDs where VxRail is explicitly required
• Strong experience with SonicWall firewall platforms: configuration, VPNs, rule management, security appliance operations. JDs in the field list SonicWall as a core firewall technology.
• Solid networking background: routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies, VLANs, multicast, LACP, QoS, network segmentation, LAN/WAN design. Market JDs regularly cite these protocols and technologies.
• Familiar with data centre networking and infrastructure (including hyper‐converged infrastructure connectivity, redundancy, software-defined networking) — similarly referenced in senior network roles.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills: able to isolate infrastructure faults, firewall/security mis-configurations, and networking issues under pressure.
• Strong documentation skills, ability to maintain network diagrams, change logs, SOPs, as appropriate.
• Good communication and collaboration skills: working across network engineering, virtualization, storage and security teams.
