Network Engineer – L1 (SD-WAN Operations & Maintenance)

India

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor all WAN/Internet/third-party links terminating on SD-WAN devices across all bank locations.
  • Coordinate with facility teams for initial fault checks (power status, device LEDs, etc.).
  • Log calls, follow up, and escalate link failures with telecom service providers (TSPs).
  • Liaise with TSP field engineers and facility teams during link restoration, implementation, or office shifts.
  • Troubleshoot branch application-access issues.
  • Manage TSP SLAs: generate, submit, and reconcile monthly SLA reports.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly network health and performance reports.
  • Maintain complete inventory of SD-WAN devices, TSP links, IP schema, escalation matrices, and updated WAN diagrams; review at least twice a year.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Full-time Graduate degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA preferred in CS, IT, or Electronics).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification, with at least 2 years’ hands-on in Routing/Switching/SD-WAN within PSU/BFSI/listed companies.
  • Certifications: At least one Associate-level Routing/Switching/SD-WAN certification; Versa SD-WAN certification preferred.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong network monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities across multiple teams and vendors.

Other Requirements

  • Background Verification (education & employment), and Police Verification Certificate to be submitted within 3 months of joining.
  • Willingness to work in rotational O&M shifts and provide on-call support when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹190,328.13 - ₹400,000.00 per year
