Network Security Engineer

Fortin Home Technologies is a technology solutions provider specializing in smart infrastructure, connected home systems, and secure digital environments for residential and commercial properties. The company develops and supports advanced technology platforms that integrate networking, automation, and security systems to deliver reliable and intelligent digital ecosystems.

We are currently seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments that support connected technologies and digital infrastructure across multiple operational platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures for enterprise and smart infrastructure environments
• Monitor network activity and identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities
• Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security infrastructure
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits across network systems
• Implement network security policies, access control measures, and security monitoring procedures
• Investigate and respond to network security incidents and implement remediation strategies
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and infrastructure teams to strengthen system security
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident reports
• Evaluate emerging network security technologies and recommend improvements to security architecture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity engineering, or infrastructure security roles
• Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewall technologies, and threat detection systems
• Experience with network monitoring and security management tools
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPN technologies, and secure network architecture design
• Experience managing security infrastructure in enterprise or large-scale network environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex security incidents
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco security certifications
• Experience securing cloud-based network environments
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and network security analytics tools
• Experience working with IoT or smart infrastructure security environments
