  • Working knowledge of networking technologies such as LAN, Internet, wireless and IP telephony.
  • Configuration & Troubleshooting skills related to routing, switching and security equipment e.g., switches, firewalls.
  • Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades.
  • Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
  • Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks.
  • Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and lead projects.
  • Remote support of on-site engineers and end users.
  • Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur.
  • liaising with project management team, Help-Desk team on a regular basis.
  • Incident/Problem escalation to the up-level team and follow the defined process.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science Graduate.
  • Relevant diploma/courses.
  • Good to have CCNA certification.
  • Project Management, Team Management, Problem Solving.
  • LAN & WAN Knowledge, Networking Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation.
  • Network Troubleshooting, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Performance Tuning.
  • Communication skills (verbal & written).
