About The Role
We are seeking a
skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer
with
3–4 years of experience
in advanced IT support, networking, and system administration. This Tier 2 role emphasizes
complex network deployments, firewall and VPN configuration, Microsoft Cloud administration, and on-premises infrastructure management
. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in troubleshooting and improving IT systems, ensuring robust connectivity, and securing both cloud and hybrid environments.
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations, guiding Tier 1 staff, and driving continuous improvement in our IT infrastructure.
What will be your responsibilities?

Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, OS, and network issues.

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs, wireless networks, and DNS.

Manage and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and advanced network security policies.

Support and administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for user lifecycle, roles, and access control.

Implement and enforce Conditional Access and MFA policies.

Manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint enrollment, compliance, and security.

Monitor and escalate Microsoft Defender XDR alerts.

Support on-premises servers (Windows Server roles such as AD, DNS, DHCP, File/Print).

Document configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

Work with IT leadership to plan and deploy network upgrades, cloud integrations, and hybrid infrastructure improvements.

Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for network and system issues.
What are we looking for, and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?

Networking: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, LAN/WAN, routing & switching (Cisco, Huawei or similar).

Firewall/VPN: Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar).

Cloud & Hybrid IT:

Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) – user management, RBAC, security policies.

Microsoft Intune (MDM, compliance, application deployment).

On-Premises: Windows Server administration (AD DS, DNS, Group Policy, File/Print).

Security: Experience with endpoint security (Defender, AV policies, patching, vulnerability remediation).

Support: Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.

Documentation & Process: Ability to create SOPs, network diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
