Job Summary

We are seeking a Networker Administrator with hands-on experience in Dell EMC NetWorker and Data Domain. The role is responsible for managing and monitoring backup infrastructure within an on-premises data centre environment, ensuring data protection, system availability, and successful recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the Dell EMC Networker backup environment.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup jobs and restore processes.
• Manage and maintain Dell EMC Data Domain storage appliances.
• Perform backup verification and ensure successful completion of scheduled jobs.
• Handle backup failures, error analysis, and root cause troubleshooting.
• Execute data restore requests within defined SLAs.
• Maintain backup policies, retention rules, and documentation.
• Work closely with System, Storage, and Infrastructure teams.
• Generate periodic backup reports and capacity planning insights.

Technical Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Dell EMC NetWorker administration.
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC Data Domain.
• Strong understanding of backup concepts (Full, Incremental, Differential, Deduplication).
• Basic knowledge of Windows & Linux servers.
• Understanding of Storage & Data Center infrastructure fundamentals.
• Familiarity with virtualization environments (VMware is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• EMC certifications (NetWorker or Data Domain).
• Exposure to enterprise backup environments.
• Basic knowledge of cloud backup integration (optional).
