NOC Coordinator

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented (Infrastructure & Rail) to join our Construction Supervision team here on a large Metro (Rail) project in Dubai!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Liaise with relevant government agencies, authorities, and the client team to secure necessary approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

  • Attend project kick-off and coordination meetings, providing support to the design team throughout the NOC process.

  • Monitor the progress of drawings and documentation related to NOC submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Support the project team in obtaining all required approvals in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with clients (internal and external) and liaise with government entities and service authorities across the UAE to address technical queries and resolve issues.

  • Track the status of utilities NOCs and ensure completion within the required timeframes.

  • Regularly review project schedules to identify potential delays or deviations related to NOC progress and recommend corrective actions.

  • Participate in design coordination meetings, contributing to process improvements where necessary.

  • Collect and consolidate information from agencies, consultants, and contractors to prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports, as well as design documentation for management and clients.

  • Attend project meetings, provide updates on NOC progress, and follow up on outstanding tasks.

  • Perform other related responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience in NOC role, preferably in infrastructure industry within Dubai.

  • Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Dubai and Northern Emirates, and their NOC system.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Valid UAE driving license and access to a car, as the role requires frequent travel to government offices and service authorities.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Working knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
