NOC Engineer

Position: NOC Engineer
Shift Type: Rotational (Morning/Evening/Night)
Location: Karachi

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain networking systems to support company operations.
• Conduct regular assessments of network security and recommend enhancements as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
• Ensure the efficient operation of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Implement network policies and procedures to optimize performance and security.
• Monitor network performance and recommend adjustments to meet changing business needs.
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving connectivity issues.
• Collaborate in the planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.

Requirement:

• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, PPPoE, QinQ , IPSec)
• Good Knowledge & hands-on experience of Static & dynamic Routing Protocols.
• CCNA Certification will be a plus.
• Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., Cacti, Librenms, Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG) and network management systems.
• Should be able to work in a team and perform under pressure.
• Multi-tasking.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
