Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to support endpoint patching, cloud services, and day-to-day IT operations. The role involves monitoring systems, providing first-line support for Azure and Microsoft 365 services, managing incidents, and escalating issues to higher-level teams as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy security patches and software updates across endpoints using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
  • Monitor patching dashboards and reports to identify, troubleshoot, and remediate patch installation failures.
  • Perform routine firmware updates and hardware/software maintenance activities.
  • Provide first-line support for Azure cloud resources, including basic monitoring, access checks, and issue identification.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services, including user access management, license assignment, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist with Azure AD (Entra ID) user management tasks such as user creation, password resets, and MFA support.
  • Create, update, and maintain incident and service request tickets in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate OS, server, cloud, and patch-related issues to L2/L3 teams with accurate documentation and troubleshooting details.
  • Maintain shift handover notes and follow operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service continuity and timely issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduation is mandatory (bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, macOS, and iOS.
  • Understanding of patch management processes and security policies.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure AD (Entra ID).
  • Basic experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365) administration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITSM/ticketing systems.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in NOC, IT Support, or a similar role.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
  • Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
