VoIP SIP & NOC Engineer

We are hiring a skilled VoIP SIP & NOC Engineer to join our telecom operations team.

You will work on SIP routing, troubleshooting, monitoring live traffic, handling carriers, and ensuring high uptime for our global VoIP systems.

Experience with PHP and MySQL is a plus, but not mandatory. Candidates with VoIP/NOC expertise will be prioritized.

Required Skills (Core Requirements)

VoIP / SIP

• Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, SDP & call flows
• Hands-on experience with Asterisk, FreePBX, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, OpenSIPS
• Ability to analyze PCAP/SIP logs (Wireshark, sngrep, Homer/HEP)
• Experience with DID routing, SIP trunk configurations, codecs
• Knowledge of VoIP fraud detection (short calls, sequential dialing, CPS spikes)
• Linux command-line skills (Ubuntu/CentOS)
• NOC Operations
• Traffic monitoring (ASR/ACD, CPS, QoS metrics)
• Handling alerts, outages, latency/spike issues
• Vendor/carrier communication and issue escalation
• Preparing reports and maintaining documentation
• Preferred Skills (Added Advantage – Not Mandatory)
• Basic PHP scripting (core PHP preferred)
• MySQL/MariaDB knowledge (queries, joins, indexing)
• Ability to modify or maintain provisioning scripts
• API integration experience
• Cron jobs / automation understanding

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor global VoIP/SIP traffic & system KPIs
• Troubleshoot SIP issues: one-way audio, failed INVITEs, registration problems
• Configure inbound/outbound routes, DID mapping, trunking
• Detect and mitigate fraud/abuse in real-time
• Coordinate with carriers to resolve routing or quality issues
• Maintain logs, NOC reports, incident documentation
• Participate in shift-based NOC operations
• Support PHP/MySQL tasks when needed (optional)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rawalpindi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
