NPD & Brand Manager – Skin Care (D2C)

We are a fast-growing D2C company redefining beauty and wellness through innovative skincare products. Our mission is to deliver science-backed, consumer-loved essentials that inspire confidence and self-care. We’re seeking a NPD & Brand Manager to lead product innovation and brand strategy, ensuring our skincare line thrives in competitive digital marketplaces.

Role Overview

This dual role blends new product development with brand stewardship. You will drive the end-to-end process of creating new skincare products — from concept to launch — while ensuring the brand’s identity, messaging, and consumer experience remain consistent and compelling.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Development (NPD):

  • Lead ideation, research, and development of new skincare products aligned with consumer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with R&D, formulation, and packaging teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships for product development.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and consumer testing to validate product-market fit.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.

Brand Management:

  • Define and execute brand positioning, storytelling, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead product launch campaigns across D2C platforms, marketplaces, and social channels.
  • Oversee creative development for digital assets, packaging, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor consumer insights, reviews, and analytics to refine brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to optimize conversion and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in brand management and/or product development, preferably in skincare, beauty or wellness.
  • Proven track record of launching successful D2C products.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart).
  • Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with marketing and digital-first product launches.
  • Knowledge of formulation basics, packaging innovation and sustainability practices.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Meta Ads Manager) and marketplace optimization.
  • Creative mindset with a consumer-first approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,500.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
