Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound dressing, IV insertion, and monitoring vitals.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Assist doctors during rounds and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in the hospital information system.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
- Ensure infection control practices and patient safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Report any change in patient condition to the concerned physician or medical team.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the nursing station and equipment.
- Coordinate with allied departments (lab, radiology, pharmacy) for patient services.
- Participate in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing license/registration with the Nursing Council
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (preferred)
