Nurse Assistant

Job Summary

Dr. Rahul's Elder Care Assisted Living Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse Assistants to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Assistant will provide essential care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring their health, and supporting the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Care:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring residents from beds to wheelchairs.
• Ensure residents' comfort and respond promptly to their needs
• Health Monitoring:
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses.
• Support Services:
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring residents' rooms are tidy.
• Assist with meal service and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition.
• Accompany residents to medical appointments and recreational activities as needed.
• Communication:
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and residents' health status.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about residents' care plans and best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.( 12th or 10th pass/fail)
• Certification: Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred but not required.
• Experience: Previous experience in elder care or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy and compassion for elderly individuals.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move residents and equipment.
• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for assisting with ADLs and medical procedures.

Salary

• 14,000 to 18,000 per month
• Hostel accomdotioon and food arranged for staff at discounted rates.
