About the Company and Role

Veer is redefining emergency response in India by providing rapid, technology-driven first aid guidance and on-site paramedic support. We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Nurses or Paramedics to join our core clinical team. This role is crucial and combines two essential functions: Real-Time Tele-Guidance and Rapid Field Deployment. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional clinical knowledge, the ability to maintain composure under extreme pressure, and superb communication skills to guide non-medical persons through life-saving interventions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Clinical Tele-Guidance & Dispatch: Handle incoming emergency calls/alerts and provide immediate, clear, and calm first aid instructions (tele-guidance) to the caller until professional help arrives.
  • Accurately assess the patient’s condition (based on verbal cues and data) and determine the appropriate level of response.
  • Coordinate with dispatch teams to mobilize on-ground resources efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all emergency calls and guidance provided.
  • Emergency Field Response: Quickly deploy to emergency locations to provide high-level primary patient care.
  • Administer necessary first aid, stabilization, and basic life support (BLS) or advanced interventions as per protocol.
  • Ensure safe and timely handover of the patient to ambulance services or hospital personnel.
  • Represent the Veer brand with professionalism, empathy, and clinical excellence at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Mandatory B.Sc. Nursing, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certification, or a recognized Paramedic Diploma/Degree.
  • Registration: Valid registration with the relevant state/national medical council or governing body
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience. Even senior nurses and paramedics can apply.

Key Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • Exceptional Communication: Fluent and articulate communication in English, Kannada and Hindi/Kannad). Ability to speak clearly, concisely, and empathetically in stressful situations is paramount.
  • Presentation Skills: Professional demeanor and ability to present clinical information clearly (essential for training and communication roles).
  • Clinical Acumen: Strong proficiency in assessing, stabilizing, and managing emergency trauma and medical cases (BLS/ACLS training preferred).
  • Decision Making: Proven ability to make rapid, critical decisions under severe time constraints.

Massive Advantage (Strong Preference)

  • Experience working in a Hospital Emergency Room (ER) / Casualty Department or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Prior experience in ambulance services or pre-hospital emergency care.
  • AHA or Red Cross certified BLS or ALS
  • For candidates selected for field deployment, a valid two-wheeler license and willingness to travel extensively within the city limits are required.
