Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, caring, and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education for children aged 45 days to 6 years, while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the Early Years curriculum (EYFS or equivalent).
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, maintaining accurate learning portfolios.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including those with SEN requirements.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child.
Childcare & Safety
- Ensure the classroom environment is safe, clean, and organised at all times.
- Follow safeguarding, health, and safety protocols, reporting concerns immediately.
- Conduct daily checks on equipment, learning materials, and classroom hygiene.
- Provide attentive care, including feeding assistance, toileting support, and emotional comfort as needed.
Communication & Parent Partnership
- Build positive, professional relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s development and daily experiences.
- Participate in parent meetings, school events, and open days.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain consistency and collaboration across all classrooms.
Teamwork & Professional Growth
- Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Contribute ideas to improve curriculum planning, classroom management, and overall nursery standards.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education / Cache Level 3 (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in an Early Years / Nursery environment.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS or similar Early Years curriculum.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Desirable:
- First Aid and Safeguarding Certification.
- Experience working in multicultural or international settings.
- Knowledge of additional educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.).
