Job Description: Nursing Lecturer

Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and clinical-oriented Nursing Lecturer to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing education, supervising clinical practices, and mentoring students to meet the professional standards set by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC).

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver comprehensive lectures, tutorials, and practical demonstrations in accordance with GBSN curriculum standards.
Clinical Supervision: Oversee and evaluate students during clinical rotations in affiliated hospitals to ensure hands-on competency.
Assessment & Evaluation: Design, administer, and grade examinations, assignments, and practical assessments.
Student Mentorship: Provide academic guidance and career counseling to students, fostering a professional nursing environment.
Compliance: Ensure all teaching materials and clinical practices remain aligned with the latest PNMC guidelines and institutional policies.
Administrative Support: Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development workshops, and assist in organized campus events.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Must hold a Qualified GBSN (Generic Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from a recognized institution.
Preferred Credential: CMW (Community Midwife) qualification is highly preferred.
Licensure: Must possess a Valid and Active License from the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable nursing or health sciences institute.

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Professional demeanor with excellent classroom management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for creating educational content.
