Role Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Science Lecturer to join our academic team at the Taqwa Institute of Medical & Health Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching foundational and advanced science subjects—specifically Biochemistry and Microbiology—to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Instruction: Deliver high-quality lectures and laboratory sessions in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and other related science subjects within the BSN curriculum.
Curriculum Integration: Adapt complex scientific concepts to the nursing context, ensuring students understand the clinical application of science in healthcare.
Student Assessment: Design and conduct periodic tests, mid-terms, and final examinations; provide constructive feedback to students to ensure academic progress.
Laboratory Oversight: Manage and supervise practical experiments in the science laboratory, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Mentorship: Provide academic guidance to students and assist them in research projects or remedial learning as needed.
Faculty Collaboration: Work closely with the Nursing Department to align science coursework with the overall clinical objectives of the program.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Must hold a Master’s degree in Science (MSc / MS) in a relevant field (e.g., Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Biological Sciences).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at a recognized college or university level (experience in a nursing or medical institute is a strong plus).
Subject Expertise: Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of Biochemistry and Microbiology.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu, with the ability to simplify complex topics for students.
Professionalism: Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
