JOB PROFILE;

1. Patient Care & Assistance

• Receive, register, and guide patients to appropriate departments.
• Record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration, SpO₂).
• Assist doctors during examinations and minor procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids as prescribed.
• Provide wound care, dressing, and basic first aid.
• Monitor patients’ condition and report changes to the doctor.

2. Clinical Support Duties

• Prepare consultation rooms before and after patient visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control (hand hygiene, PPE use).
• Sterilize instruments and ensure proper biomedical waste disposal as per BMW Rules, India.
• Assist in minor OT, emergency care, and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain emergency trolley and ensure availability of drugs and equipment.

3. Documentation & Records

• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing notes.
• Update treatment charts, medication records, and consent forms.
• Handle OPD registers, vaccination records, and follow-up schedules.
• Use hospital management systems (HMS) or manual registers correctly.

4. Patient Education & Counseling

• Educate patients on medication usage, diet, hygiene, and follow-up care.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions.
• Support chronic disease patients (diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
• Promote preventive healthcare, immunization, and health awareness.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with doctors, lab technicians, pharmacists, and reception staff.
• Guide patients for lab tests, imaging, or referrals.
• Communicate clearly in Marathi, Hindi, and/or English as required.
• Handle patient queries politely and professionally.

6. Emergency & First Response

• Identify medical emergencies and initiate first aid/CPR if trained.
• Assist in stabilizing patients before referral to higher centers.
• Maintain calm and efficient response during emergencies.

7. Infection Control & Safety

• Follow NABH / local clinical safety guidelines (if applicable).
• Ensure safe handling of sharps and hazardous materials.
• Prevent cross-infection in OPD and procedure areas.

8. Ethical & Legal Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council guidelines.
• Obtain informed consent when required.
• Practice respectful, non-discriminatory patient care.

9. Administrative & Support Tasks

• Assist in stock management of medicines and consumables.
• Report shortages or equipment malfunction.
• Support health camps, vaccination drives, and community programs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
