Occupational Safety Engineer (Part-Time)

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Safety Engineer (Part-Time) to design and conduct a customized safety training program covering welding safety, lifting operations, material handling, slinging, and rigging practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver customized safety training sessions (theoretical & practical).
  • Provide training on:
  • Welding safety and hazard prevention
  • Safe lifting and load handling
  • Proper slinging and rigging techniques
  • Material handling safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and international safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to welding and lifting activities.
  • Maintain training records and submit brief compliance reports.
  • Recommend corrective safety measures where required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Safety Engineering or related field).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in occupational safety, preferably in industrial or construction environments.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging standards, and welding safety.
  • Ability to conduct engaging and practical training sessions.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 8 per week
