Riphah International University seeks a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join the CDC Rawalpindi team. This role involves assessing and assisting patients of all ages to develop, recover, and improve the skills essential for daily living and working. The ideal candidate possesses strong patient assessment abilities, expertise in therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy skills. The Occupational Therapist collaborates closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers to create and implement personalized treatment plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life. This position requires at least two years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in clinical or rehabilitation settings, but candidates with a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify areas requiring therapeutic intervention.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and clinical best practices.

Deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques aimed at improving patients motor skills, daily living activities, and overall independence.

Educate and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and strategies to facilitate enhanced function and safety in their daily routines.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs and goals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with institutional and legal guidelines.

Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all patient interactions to foster a supportive and encouraging therapy environment.
