Candidate Profile
We seek an experienced Functional Consultant with deep Odoo expertise, capable of engaging with C-level executives in business terms and transforming complex operational processes into structured digital solutions. You will take ownership of comprehensive implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of client business processes and develop optimal Odoo-based solutions
- Configure and customize functional modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing, CRM, Project Management)
- Manage the full implementation lifecycle: from kick-off meeting to successful production launch
- Develop technical documentation, procedures, and user manuals
- Conduct training sessions for key users and system administrators
- Coordinate with the development team for client-specific requirement implementation
- Manage multiple parallel projects while maintaining timelines and budgets
- Perform UAT and ensure the quality of implemented solutions
- Provide post-implementation support and business process optimization
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Odoo ERP implementation experience
- Mandatory Odoo certification, version 15 or higher
- Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report)
- Experience with Odoo Studio for low-code customizations
- Working knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL for effective collaboration with the technical team
- Project management skills and experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to C-level executives
- Ability to promptly resolve technical and organizational challenges
- English fluency (Arabic language skills — a significant advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Finance
- Willingness to relocate to Dubai or current residency in the MENA region
