Organizational Rationale

This role ensures Pernod Ricard Türkiye’s commercial excellence in the Off Trade channel across the Black Sea region, a market with growing importance for distribution and retail visibility. It provides leadership in managing distributor partnerships, retail coverage, and investment discipline, ensuring sustainable sales growth and consistent brand presence.

OBJECTIVE

To lead Pernod Ricard Türkiye’s Off Trade field sales operations in the Black Sea region, ensuring achievement of sales and distribution targets, building strong distributor and retailer partnerships, and developing a high-performing sales team that consistently delivers commercial excellence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Execution & Commercial Deployment

  • Implement Off Trade strategies across the Black Sea region in alignment with national sales priorities.
  • Ensure achievement of primary and secondary sales targets.
  • Increase distribution width and depth across retail and wholesale accounts.
  • Drive merchandising and in-store promotional activities in cooperation with Trade Marketing.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Sales Supervisors and their respective teams.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Distributor Management

  • Manage distributor relationships, including stock levels, credit limits, and outlet coverage.
  • Strengthen relationships with key retail partners to maximize availability and visibility.
  • Support joint business planning with distributors and retailers.

Insights & Reporting

  • Provide structured feedback on sales performance, market dynamics, and competitor activity.
  • Deliver regional insights to inform national planning and S&OP processes.
  • Track ROI on trade investments and adjust plans based on performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: 4 Years’ University degree
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 8-10 years of commercial experience, in FMCG or beverage industry
    • Minimum 3–5 years of people management experience in sales, field team leadership, or key account management roles.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Offtrade channel dynamics and key commercial drivers
    • Proven leadership capabilities in managing field sales teams and driving execution excellence
    • Ability to translate commercial strategies into regional action plans with measurable outcomes
    • Solid planning, organizational, and analytical skills to monitor and improve performance
    • Effective communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
  • Managerial & Leadership Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.

Leads and develops Sales Supervisors in the region, fostering coaching, operational clarity, and preparing future leaders within the commercial organization & provides dedicated leadership for Off Trade operations in the Black Sea, ensuring disciplined execution, consistent standards, and alignment with national sales strategies.

  • Distributor & Retailer Management

Strengthens execution quality through structured distributor partnerships and improved collaboration with key retail accounts, ensuring visibility, availability, and commercial discipline.

  • Performance & Investment Optimization

Ensures ROI-driven trade spending and disciplined performance monitoring, delivering profitable growth and premium brand presence across the Off Trade channel.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

Acts as the regional liaison with central functions (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance), enhancing the speed and effectiveness of commercial execution in the Black Sea region.
