Grace Community Church is seeking a dedicated and motivated Church Office Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our church, providing exceptional support to staff and clergy, and fostering a welcoming environment for our congregation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to pastors and church staff, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Oversee all church communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media (with the help of our Creativity & Communication Commission).
  • Ensure the accuracy and upkeep of church records, including membership databases, financial reports, and event registrations.
  • Prepare and distribute church bulletins, newsletters, and other publications.
  • Manage church facilities by scheduling use of buildings and rooms, coordinating maintenance requests, and overseeing security procedures.
  • Provide warm and professional customer service to all church visitors and members.
  • Assist with various ministries and church events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong ability and willingness to learn new communication platforms/tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • A faith-based background and a passion for church ministry is preferred.
  • A member of Grace Community Church is preferred.
