Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some background in office support, with excellent organizational skills. This entry level role involves various clerical tasks, front desk responsibilities, and assisting with daily operations to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
  • Answer multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized records.
  • Willing to learn data entry for Accounts Payable with progression to full check runs.
  • Maintain office & maintenance supplies inventory and order when necessary.
  • Process daily mail
  • Support bookkeeping tasks using Foundation or similar software as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective office operations and workflow.
  • Manage & order foodservice for occasional training sessions

Experience

  • Previous office experience helpful
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and typing skills are helpful
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pleasant & professional phone & reception manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
