Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations of our wholesale denim business. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a variety of office support tasks with efficiency and discretion.

This role requires someone who is organized, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality work. You will assist with administrative tasks, customer communications, and inventory coordination, helping ensure smooth office and warehouse workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls (transferring callers as appropriate), answering emails from clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitoring and managing office access.
  • Greeting customers and visitors to the office, ensuring guests are comfortable and connected with the right office personnel.
  • Managing schedules for conference and showroom spaces.
  • Monitoring and ordering inventory for office and break room supplies pending Supervisor approval.
  • Managing janitorial and office supply inventory lists.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages.
  • Filing and organizing records, invoices and other important documentation.
  • Support with order processing and documentation if needed.
  • Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and equipment pending Supervisor approval.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • Prior experience in wholesale, fashion, or apparel industry is a plus
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to embrace organizational goals and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - must be able to speak clearly over the phone and in person to communicate with both colleagues and clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); QuickBooks or ERP systems a plus
  • Knowledge and experience working with general office equipment (phones, copier, & computer)
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
