SUMMARY

Performs various tasks such as data entry, answering calls, filing, placing orders, and tracking orders in the Purchasing Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regular attendance is a requirement that is key to performing the job
  • Coordinates some activities related to purchasing beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
  • Solicits proposals for requested product and advises the Purchasing Manager.
  • Assures that purchases are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company.
  • Maintains detailed records of purchases, including quantities, shipping information, and cost associated with the purchases.
  • Maintains files updated.
  • Monitors stock of office supplies and reports when there are shortages.
  • Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation, etc.
  • Regular attendance is a requirement that is key to performing the job.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
