Requisition items needed for construction, manually and/or by computer, for projects developed and operated by Southeast Health. Places orders for stock and nonstock items. Code and route invoices for payment. Maintain IHC hospital owned vehicles.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- At least two years experience in parts and supplies;
- At least two years experience in computer data entry;
- Valid driver's license.
Language/Communication Skills:
- Ability to utilize the internet, extranet, and e-mail.
Skills:
- Assigning and maintaining manually and/or computer records of Purchase Order numbers issued on all items purchased;
- Receive and check invoices to verify quality and code invoices for proper payment. Document in the computer all information needed for adequate payment of invoices;
- Order stock and non-stock items;
- Assist vendors;
- Pickup parts and supplies that cannot be delivered in a timely manner;
- Maintains and supervise repairs on hospital vehicle(s);
- Maintain all dust fans;
- Maintain inventory of items used daily for construction;
- Complete annual Blitz program and attend all required meetings scheduled.
