The Office Coordinator will undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. In addition to ensuring daily office operations run smoothly, the individual holding this position will support other business activities. This multifaceted role is integral to the success of the overall business operations. He/She must be comfortable working independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The individual will consistently ensure the office operations are efficient by developing and implementing process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing administrative support for the Administrator and Health and Welfare office.
  • Assist / direct member’s and contractor's inquires via phone, in person and mail with a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Draft written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.
  • Monitors office usage of supplies and places orders when necessary.
  • Works independently on projects which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, and creating communications.
  • Develop and coordinate membership / contractor mailings; responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Assist with contribution and hours reports checking for accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High level attention to detail, work flow and follow up skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Highly motivated to manage multiple projects efficiently while prioritizing as appropriate.
  • Works efficiently, accurately and independently.
  • High level interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred some knowledge of Accounting software (SAGE, QuickBooks).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
