Office coordinator (Permit & Site Coordinator)

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and proactive office coordinator to support the daily operations of our interior design studio. This role goes beyond basic office maintenance — it includes running errands, managing document submissions, assisting with approvals from authorities, and supporting the design and admin teams with practical, day-to-day tasks.

The ideal candidate is organised, trustworthy, and able to move efficiently between office duties and external administrative tasks (site duties).

Key responsibilities:

  • Submit and collect documents from authorities (e.g., DLD, DCD, Municipality, etc.)
  • Assist with applying for permits or approvals as instructed
  • Deliver drawings, samples, or forms to relevant external offices
  • Ensure timely follow-up and accurate submission of required paperwork
  • Maintain logs or records of documents submitted and collected

Qualifications:

  • Valid UAE residency and driving license, the ability to travel locally for errands
  • Previous experience in a similar office support role (interior design or architecture firm is a plus)
  • Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking)
  • Familiarity with navigating Dubai-based government departments preferred
  • Trustworthy, well-organised, and punctual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • Drivers license (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Preferred)
