The Office Manager is a critical component of the administrative workforce in Franciscan Health. The role primarily requires coordination, organization, guidance, and management of customer service and all processes in the department, to maximize efficiency and continued quality service for all customers. The Office Manager provides high-level administrative support by conducting independent research, preparing statistical reports, and performing clerical functions within the administrative office and program governance councils.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Prepare correspondence, receive visitors, arrange conference calls, and schedule meetings.
  • Utilize word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software in the creation of invoices, reports, memos, financial statements, state board and accreditation documents, and letters.
  • Coordinate and direct office services, such as record and budget preparation, personnel, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the official records of the school; serve as the recording secretary and assure all minutes are retained.
  • Coordinates graduation and licensure processes for program graduates.
  • Actively supports and participates in recruitment and retention activities (e.g., Fun in the SON, Information Day, New Student Orientation Days, etc.)
  • Organizes and coordinates Nursing Education Program functions such as Recognition (aka “Capping”) Ceremony, Conferring of Diplomas ceremonies (December, May & July), and annual Alumni event.
  • IT support for faculty.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Associate's Degree In related field
  • Required High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years Clerical Required
  • 1 year Healthcare Preferred
  • Notary Public commission must obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Technolgy and Computer proficiency preferred.
