GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Western Ohio Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association is seeking an experienced office manager. This individual must have great organizational abilities, be self-motivated and possess time management skills in order to prioritize tasks for successful timely completion. This individual should be proficient in QuickBooks and have experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

As the first point of contact for the company, the office manager handles all incoming correspondence and routes information to the correct contact. The office manager also serves as a receiving agent for monthly employer Fringe Benefit reports and payments. The office manager reports directly to the

Executive Director and will provide assistance to the Director as required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide administrative support for Executive Director
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Maintain accounts payable and prepare checks for signature
  • Maintain accounts receivable and make bank deposits
  • Assist Executive Director with preparing annual budget
  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Prepare and pay monthly payroll taxes including municipal withholding, Ohio withholding and 941 Federal tax deposits
  • Prepare and pay quarterly payroll taxes including preparation and filing for Ohio unemployment, BWC and Federal 941
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Prepare customized monthly financial reports
  • Remote deposit capture
  • Prepare and file various industry related reports
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Receive monthly employer Fringe Benefit reports, collect payments, balance payments to reports, import reports into system using proprietary software, create disbursement schedule for outgoing employer Fringe Benefits, export reports

JOB CRITERIA

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Position requires knowledge of office procedures, general accounting and bookkeeping with the demonstration level normally acquired through one-year experience providing administrative support.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
