• Financial Management: Overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Reporting: Preparing monthly and year-end financial statements in accordance with manufacturer requirements and dealership guidelines.
• Payroll & HR: Managing payroll processing, maintaining confidential personnel files, and coordinating employee benefits like health and life insurance.
• Accounts Payable: Managing invoicing procedures and processing accounts payable each month.
• Inventory Control: Reconciling vehicle inventory schedules, floor plan payoffs, and managing manufacturer incentives or rebates.
• Compliance: Ensuring the dealership remains compliant with federal and state regulations, tax reporting, and internal audits.
• Staff Supervision: Hiring, training, and mentoring administrative staff such as receptionists, cashiers, and accounting clerks.
