Office Manager / Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper Bergen County, NJ

Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our Accounting team

to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements

compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage

invoices. Our ideal candidate is familiar with accounting software

packages such as QuickBooks. Bookkeeper’s

responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial

transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting
  • process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create
  • Process all client expense requests (A/P)
  • Mail out payments generated by the check request process
  • Client Expense Allocation Enforcement
  • Special Projects as requested

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry
  • QuickBooks, Excel, MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Expense allocation

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
