Uptex Bank is hiring an Office Manager to run day-to-day operations at our Muscat HQ with precision and a strong compliance mindset.

Requirements

  • Omani National (mandatory)
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Hands-on with
  • Familiarity with Oman labor/commercial laws and regulations
  • Strong coordination, communication, and vendor-management skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable creating auditable records (policies, logs, checklists)

Responsibilities

  • Office operations: facilities, supplies, vendors, reception, travel, logistics
  • Staff coordination: onboarding/offboarding, attendance & leave tracking, training calendars, internal comms
  • Compliance ops: maintain auditable records and ensure policy adherence
  • Executive/meeting support: calendars, visitor management, board packs, minutes
  • Finance admin: petty cash, invoice routing, PR/PO tracking, vendor reconciliation
  • H&S & assets: safety checklists, access badges, asset inventory, incident registers
  • External liaison: interface with local authorities, landlords, and service providers for renewals/attestations

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services/fintech
  • Exposure to audits/inspections and event/meeting operations
