This position is located in the city of Sacramento.

The California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (CCEPD) advances the employment for people with disabilities by making policy recommendations to the Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Agency and the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency. The CCEPD influences policy as it is being developed through the various state departments, and creates new policy recommendations, as needed. CCEPD also oversees an annual transition-age youth project, the California Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities (YLF). The CCEPD administrative office is located within the Independent Living and Community Access Division (ILCAD) at the Department of Rehabilitation.

Passage for background check will be required. The position is based in Sacramento. Under Government Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbent must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time. Travel is required for in-person meetings in adherence to Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act, for the week-long residential YLF event and other YLF events.
