Officer - Payroll Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Officer – Payroll Operations to join our Finance Division. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee payroll records, and supporting compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (MBA/BBA preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing, finance operations, or compensation management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, deductions, bonuses, and allowances.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, leaves, and final settlements for payroll calculation.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, EOBI, SESSI, and other statutory deductions.
  • Coordinate with HR and branch teams for payroll-related updates and discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and management summaries.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payroll concerns.
  • Support audits by maintaining proper payroll documentation and records.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Payroll systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
