We are currently seeking a Officer - Retail Management (1 Year Extendable Contract ) one of our very well-known client, to be based in their Dubai office.


Job Purpose:

Support the effective operation and management of retail concessions within the airport. The position assists in ensuring that company's retail partners deliver exceptional customer experiences, meet sales targets, and maintain high standards of operations and service.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the guardian of retail and Concessions handbook
  • Perform regular store audits as per an agreed template, detail observations and provide actionable recommendations
  • Provide adequate support and follow up on recommendation implementation and action plan.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with retail concessionaires.
  • Collaborate with concessionaires to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Collaborate with concessionaires to ensure appealing visual displays to effectively drive sales performance Monitor inventory levels, product offerings, and optimize stock.
  • Enhance the overall customer experience through excellent service, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate marketing plans and campaigns with concessionaires.
  • Follow up with concessionaires on customer complains to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze sales and financial data to evaluate and drive concessionaire performance.
  • Ensure effective use of reporting tools and data available to identify potential commercial opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on concessionaire performance and inventory.
  • Ensure concessionaires comply with airport regulations, including safety, security, and licensing.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising, customer service, and business operations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management to oversee concessionaire performance.
  • Experience in store operations and store audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with retail procedures.
  • Familiarity with local regulations related to retail operations, including licensing, safety, and security.
  • Familiarity with retail management software.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong numerical ability with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
