Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in our oil and gas business. The role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, developing proposals, and supporting revenue growth across existing and target accounts. This position requires strong industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships with decision-makers in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPCs, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Prepare proposals, tenders, presentations, and commercial submissions.
  • Negotiate contracts and support deal closure.
  • Coordinate with technical, operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment and project delivery.
  • Report on pipeline status, forecasts, market opportunities, and business performance to senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in oil and gas.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas market dynamics, customer segments, and commercial processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with EPC companies, upstream, downstream, or energy-related clients.
  • Tender management and proposal development experience.
  • Ability to analyze market data and build growth strategies.
  • Strong presentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent, New grad, Temporary, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR35.00 - QAR90.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
