Overview

The corporate role involves overseeing and supporting a global fleet of power and water plants, focusing on operational and maintenance excellence to ensure reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities include implementing O&M readiness plans, driving maintenance strategies, and monitoring performance against KPIs. The aim is to optimize resource utilization and enhance shareholder value through strategic planning and risk management.

Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)

O & M Readiness

Develop and ensure implementation of O & M readiness Plan before taking over the Plant for commercial operations.
Provide design review and commissioning period support.
Assist in Business Continuity Studies for the plants.
Establish appropriate planning & maintenance procedures and computerized maintenance management processes.
Develop and implement corporate and site-specific procedures.

Maintenance Planning and Management

Drive the maintenance strategy across the fleet to ensure reliability and availability of operating plants.
Ensure the timely completion of the Master Equipment List, Single Point of Failure (SPOF), and criticality analysis for plant equipment.
Support the fleet for Spares selection.
Finalize the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) plans based on the criticality analysis and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations.
Ensure maintenance staff authorization in accordance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
Oversee the timely closing of Work Orders and Service Entry Sheets (SES) in the system.

Outage Management and Coordination

Collaborate closely with site teams to define scope of work for annual planned outages, plant modifications, improvements, and additional jobs, including budgeting and purchase order management.
Identify areas of concern that may affect outage or operational efficiency.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Monitor O&M business at the corporate level, function as the first line of defense for resolving plant techno commercial issues and escalate major issues to relevant corporate experts as deemed necessary.
Conduct site visits, identify technical issues, ensure technical issues registration and follow up, sharing lessons learned, review and improve RCA/investigation reports.
-Establish Management Information System (MIS) reporting, monitor plant maintenance performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Ensure the implementation of Preventive & Predictive maintenance, systematic calibration and testing programs for all critical equipment.
Risk Register: Identify risks and follow up till closure.
Monitor and ensure local content compliance.

Value Creation and Optimization

Identify opportunities for improvements including feasible digitization.
Contribute towards value creation for the fleet budget through work resource and inventory spare optimization, as well as the implementation of initiatives.
Oversee and ensure development of detailed specifications for services, materials, and spares to facilitate competitive procurement while identifying alternative suppliers.

Finance

Review and finalize the annual budget and five-year forecast.
Monitor through monthly earnings review.

O & M bid Support

Support Business Development (BD) team with operational and maintenance cost review/inputs and review of draft Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements.
