Job Title: Technical Quotation Executive – Ship Chandling

Job Summary

We are seeking an Technical Quotation Executive with a background in ship chandling to prepare accurate, competitive, and technically compliant quotations based on client requirements. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of marine products, vessel supply operations, and UAE market standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze client RFQs (Request for Quotations) for marine and ship supply requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations in line with client specifications and technical requirements.
• Source products from approved suppliers and negotiate pricing to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure quotations comply with international marine standards and vessel requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to confirm product availability and delivery timelines.
• Maintain updated price lists and supplier databases.
• Follow up with clients regarding submitted quotations and provide clarifications when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of all quotations and correspondence.
• Support the sales team in converting quotations into confirmed orders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and new marine products within the UAE market.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in ship chandling or marine supply industry in the UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine stores, provisions, deck & engine stores, safety equipment, and spare parts.
• Proven experience in preparing technical and commercial quotations.
• Familiarity with UAE ports such as DP World and major marine hubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, marine documentation, and vessel supply procedures.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
