Operational Manager – Rental Cars

Job Summary

The Operational Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of all rental branches, ensuring smooth fleet management, improving customer satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving company targets.

The role requires strong coordination between branches, maintenance teams, customer service departments, and upper management to ensure efficient and profitable business operations.

Key Responsibilities Branch Operations Management

• Supervise and manage operations across multiple rental branches.
• Ensure all branches follow company policies and operational procedures.
• Monitor branch performance and implement improvements where needed.
• Maintain smooth daily rental operations and vehicle availability.

Fleet Management

• Monitor vehicle utilization, availability, and fleet movement.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, cleaned, and ready for rental.
• Coordinate with maintenance/workshop teams for repairs and inspections.
• Reduce vehicle downtime and operational delays. Team Leadership
• Lead branch managers and operational staff.
• Monitor employee performance and productivity.
• Conduct training and operational guidance for branch teams.
• Ensure discipline, professionalism, and teamwork across all branches.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare operational reports and performance analysis.
• Monitor KPIs such as:
• Vehicle utilization rate
• Revenue performance
• Customer satisfaction
• Damage/loss incidents
• Branch productivity
• Submit regular operational updates to management.

Customer Service & Quality

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and fast issue resolution.
• Handle escalated customer complaints professionally.
• Improve customer experience and operational quality standards.

Multi-Branch Coordination

• Coordinate between branches for vehicle transfers and operational support.
• Ensure operational consistency across all Saudi Arabia locations.
• Support branch expansion and new branch setup activities.

Cost & Operational Control

• Control operational expenses and improve efficiency.
• Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs, and operational losses.
• Optimize processes to improve profitability.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and rental procedures.
• Monitor vehicle documentation, insurance, registrations, and contracts.
• Ensure all operational records are properly maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Automotive Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in car rental operations or automotive operations.
• Experience managing multiple branches is highly preferred.
