Operations Analyst

Role Objectives:

As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the operations of dark stores, last-mile delivery processes, mid-mile logistics, and warehouse performance. You will be responsible for analyzing operational data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on the end-to-end process from product receiving to order fulfillment and delivery, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and report on operational data (e.g., order volumes, delivery times, fulfillment accuracy, and customer feedback) to track KPIs and provide insights that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Use data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across dark stores and delivery processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Flag anomalies and support development of visual trackers and alerts.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing data-driven input and supporting initiatives aimed at improving processes, performance, and the customer experience.
  • Assist inventory teams in maintaining optimal stock levels in dark stores. Support in applying strategies that improve accuracy and reduce stock imbalances.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs. Support implementation efforts and monitor impact to ensure ongoing optimization.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
  • Partner with analytics teams to build dashboards and define new KPIs aligned with company goals. Contribute operational data that support strategic decision-making.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry. Experience with data analysis and process optimization is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools is required.
  • Understanding of dark store operations, inventory management, and last-mile delivery processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and ERP is a plus.
  • Ability to identify operational challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive process improvements. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, process documentation, and implementation of operational improvements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets, drive operational efficiencies, and deliver high-quality results.
