Operations Assistant

Sierra Line Construction Inc. is a fast-growing, execution-driven construction company built on precision, accountability, and speed. We operate in a high-volume environment where performance, communication, and execution define success. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to support daily operations, field coordination, scheduling, and project execution.

Position Overview

The Operations Assistant plays a critical role in supporting project operations from start to finish. This position combines project coordination, scheduling, field support, customer follow-up, and core administrative assistant responsibilities to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

40% Supports project manager & estimating

30% Coordinating and tracking work load.

30% Office administrative work.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate project scheduling, dispatching, and crew assignments

· Communicate daily with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

· Track project progress and ensure all job details remain accurate and updated

· Follow up on open tasks, permits, materials, scheduling changes, and customer requests

· Manage incoming calls, emails, and service requests

· Provide front desk reception and general administrative support

· Maintain organized job files, reports, spreadsheets, and project documentation

· Assist with project setup, estimating support, and closeout processes

· Prepare operational reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel

· Coordinate communication between office staff and field personnel

· Data entry, filing, and document management

· Support daily office operations and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items

Performance Expectations

· Same-day response on inbound requests and project updates

· Accurate and efficient scheduling and coordination

· Strong attention to detail with minimal errors

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Consistent communication and proactive follow-up

Qualifications

· Previous experience in project coordination, administrative support, dispatch, or operations coordination

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word

· Experience in the construction industry is preferred

· Experience with Sage and/or JobTread software is preferred

· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

· $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)

· Performance-based bonus
