Operations Associate

We are seeking a qualified Operations Associate to assist with daily station tech operations for New York’s bikeshare system. The starting schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday, evening shift. Please note that schedules are subject to change for business need.

About the Role
  • Oversee deployments, reconfiguration, and removal of bikeshare stations throughout the region
  • Support onboarding and training initiatives for new and existing team members
  • Provide daily support for work teams in the station tech department, working under management team supervision
  • Maintain warehouse and field operations to standards
  • Ensure that safety-related processes are followed
  • Track and maintain inventory and ensure that necessary equipment, tools, and supplies are available and ready for each shift
About You
  • You thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, as well as working outdoors in field operations, with experience in production/warehouse operations, inventory control, technology proficiency, and mechanical aptitude
  • You have prior lead or trainer experience within an hourly warehouse and/or field operations team, with a demonstrated ability to engage and support both individuals and a work team to achieve productivity and success
  • You are a team player and collaborator, with excellent written/verbal communication and training skills, with a wide range of audiences
  • You are a self-starter with a demonstrated work ethic, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • You have a current driver’s license and can meet the Motor Vehicle Record requirements
  • You can meet the physical requirements for the position, including lifting to 75 pounds, as well as bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
