Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join our e-commerce team. The Operations Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across various aspects of the e-commerce business, including order processing, inventory management, vendor coordination, and customer service. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Order Processing
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of customer orders.
- Ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently and according to company standards.
- Monitor order status and address any issues or delays promptly.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and optimize stock levels.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and products.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address common issues and improve processes.
Logistics and Shipping:
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of orders.
- Monitor shipping activities and address any delays or issues that may arise.
- Optimize shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
- Use data insights to develop strategies for optimizing operations and enhancing the customer experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in a similar role (shopify, Unicommerce )
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and order management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including customer service, marketing, and finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Prior experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
