Operations Executive -Job Description

Main purpose

To manage daily logistics operations (transport, shipping, customs, and coordination) and ensure smooth delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

Typical duties include:

Coordinate shipments (air, sea, road freight)

Handle customs clearance documentation

Track shipments and update clients regularly

Communicate with:

Transporters

Suppliers

Customers

Plan and monitor delivery schedules

Solve delays, errors, or logistics issues quickly

Maintain accurate records (invoices, bills, shipping docs)

Use systems like Excel or ERP software

Ensure compliance with Oman logistics rules

In short: you are the person who keeps everything moving without delays.

Required skills

Knowledge of logistics / freight forwarding

Good communication & coordination

Problem-solving under pressure

Attention to detail (very important)

Computer skills (Excel, logistics systems)

Time management & multitasking.
