The Operations & Finance Manager will serve as a key operational leader responsible for financial tracking, compliance coordination, payroll oversight, internal systems management, and administrative operations. This individual will work closely with the Executive Director and support the organization’s transition into a larger institutional framework.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Track invoices, receivables, grant payments, and contracts
- Coordinate payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Work directly with accountant and payroll providers
- Maintain organized operational and funding documentation
- Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
Operations Management
- Build and maintain organizational systems and workflows
- Track deadlines for grants, contracts, reports, and compliance
- Coordinate vendors and operational logistics
- Maintain internal accountability systems
HR & Staff Coordination
- Support onboarding and employee documentation
- Coordinate payroll and benefits administration
- Maintain personnel files and operational records
Funding & Compliance Support
- Maintain funding pipeline tracking systems
- Support grant administration and reporting processes
- Ensure documentation readiness for audits and funders
Requirements
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Experience with QuickBooks required,
- Experience with payroll systems, and non-profit administration
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Nonprofit experience required
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
